Jewelsburg is the county capital of Therpston County. QWRP FM cannot be heard here. Their town slogan used to be "Diamond of Therpston County," but after people from Nsburg wouldn't stop vandalizing the sign, they changed to "Jewelsburg: Thankfully not Nsburg." As the thrum flies, it's 20 minutes from Nsburg to Jewelsburg.

The University of Jewelsburg is one of two known universities in Therpston County, the other being in Chuffield. Sadie Caspersen's daughter Samantha is a student here.
