Khaavren is one of Kathleen's two cats, following the passing of Annika and the adoption of Baxter. In the tradition of Kathleen never naming any of her cats herself, her then-boyfriend named the cat after a character in the Khaavren Romances by Steven Brust. Khaavren was abandoned as a kitten. He's appeared in a number of LRR videos over the years.
