Mattrolling
Mattrolling is a form of bait-and-switch trolling in which blind or obfuscated links lead to a disruptive Flash video called fearofmatt.swf. It is the LoadingReadyRun-specific variant of Rickrolling.
Mattrolling was created by Alex. It was edited from an earlier Flash called fearofgod.swf. A row of pictures of Bill Cosby (with a slight animated head shake) superimposed on a yellow-and-red flashing backdrop zooms in and out, the colors inverting the closer it zooms in. The break between the first and second verses of Bob Sinclair's "World Hold On" slowed down 25% loops in the background. Alex edited the flash and placed Matt's face over Bill Cosby's. Alex changed Cosby's face to Matt's face in December 2009.
Mattrolling fell into disuse after the introduction of clubbing, even on the forums (clubbing through the forums involves linking to a picture of a club soda). Nevertheless, King Kool successfully Mattroll'd Graham, Paul and Kathleen at PAX East 2010 with a video on an iPod Touch.
On April Fool's Day 2014, a special page on the LRR Wiki linked to a Mattroll.
