Paul Joseph Saunders is one of the two founding members of LoadingReadyRun, along with Graham Stark. His contributions include being a director and one of the primary writers, acting in a majority of the sketch videos, webmastering the LRR site, and running tech for streams. He is also the sexiest man alive.

He appears onscreen in episodes of LoadingReadyLIVE, CommodoreHUSTLE, Crapshots, and Friday Nights. He is a frequent offscreen presence on many of LRR's streams, where he is running tech. From 2014 to 2016, he hosted Things on my Stream and cohosted Graham & Paul Let's Play with Graham.

During the Covid Pandemic, Paul served as the central nexus for remote streams, using a computer at his home that he dubbed "Studio P." Paul's technical prowess is a probable inspiration for his "mad scientist" character on CommodoreHUSTLE.

On November 24, 2007, the Totally Awesome International Internet Paul Fan Club was started during the first Desert Bus for Hope. Paul has appeared as an entertainer on every Desert Bus as of 2025; since 2022 he has been on the Zeta Shift, having moved to there from Dawn Guard.

Paul has one elder brother, Daniel Saunders, who wrote It's All In Your Head. Paul and Daniel cohosted the podcast Fight the Future.

At 4 PM, Monday 1st of December 2008, Paul shaved off his trademark goatee for charity during Desert Bus for Hope 2. Paul would remain beardless until he grew his beard out for a few months for the Olympic Beard Growing update in Season Seven, again when he grew a full beard for Desert Bus at the end of 2013, and again in 2014.

• Paul is the only crewmember without a social media account.
• Paul was a Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows 2000.
• Paul has only one tonsil.
• Paul is known for his good singing voice, and he has sung on Desert Bus.
• According to LRR canon, Paul is currently a zombie, having been resurrected in this state after a series of botched attempts to revive him from death in The Aftermath. His demise was initially caused by Conor knocking him over the head with a potato in a sock; this was done to help Paul "get into character" for a prank in which Graham would be told Paul had died (pwn'd). Paul also has the Phailinite Ring (A Sacred Duty), which is thought to be the cause of several of his bouts of mania and the reason for his sentience despite zombification.
