{Scene opens on an average Pocket Planes airport in Nairobi, with planes waiting to be loaded with cargo and Bitizen passengers. Scene pans to a boarding station where two such Bitizens approach the counter}
Boarding Attendant (James): Good evening, and thank you for choosing Pocket Planes Airlines, where our motto is "We're the only airline". Where are we travelling today?
Passenger 1 (Kathleen): We'd like to book two tickets to Beijing for 9:45.
Boarding Attendant: I'm sorry, but we do not currently fly to Beijing.
Passenger 1: Oh, um...
Passenger 2 (Graham): Well then, what about Shanghai? We always wanted to go to Shanghai.
Boarding Attendant: Hmm, we don't fly there either.
Passenger 1: What about Xi'an or Guangzhou?
Boarding Attendant: Nope.
Passenger 2: Well, do you know anyone who does fly there?
Boarding Attendant: No, we don't fly there because there's no airport there, and there's no airport there because we haven't built one yet.
Passenger 1: It's a city of ten million people! How can you not have an airport there?
Boarding Attendant: Look, do you know if we wanted to open an airport in Beijing, it would cost us like, fifty-one thousand Coins? How about Jakarta? We fly there.
Both Passengers: Close enough.
Boarding Attendant: Alright. {types on computer} Let's see here... Hmm, I'm sorry, but there's only room for one of you on the flight that leaves in three minutes. {types some more} But we do have a plane leaving in twelve minutes with two seats available.
Passenger 1: Wonderful, let's get those.
Boarding Attendant: There is a stop in Cairo.
Passenger 1: Well, that's alright. Cairo's a nice-
Boarding Attendant: And Paris.
Passenger 2: Paris?
Boarding Attendant: Yes, it's Nairobi to Cairo, Cairo to Paris, Paris to New York.
Passenger 1: New York?! We came from New York!
Boarding Attendant: Well, we all must make sacrifices sometimes.
Passenger 2: Listen, why can't you just put us on a plane direct to Jakarta? Surely you have one going there?
Boarding Attendant: Oh, sure.
Passenger 2: Then what's the problem?
Boarding Attendant: The plane to New York is much more expensive so we can charge you more.
Passenger 1: {gradually speaking slower} Exactly, which is why we, want to go, direct, to, Jakarta!
Boarding Attendant: Okay, fine. Do you have any luggage?
Passenger 1: {picks up a box} Just this box of snails.
Passenger 2: {brings out blue vase} And I've got this rare vase.
Boarding Attendant: Ah, I'm sorry, but this plane has no room for cargo. {types on computer} But we have a plane leaving soon for Bangkok. We can put your vase there.
Passenger 2: Will that get it to Jakarta? {while he's talking, a cargo bearer comes in and takes the vase away}
Boarding Attendant: Probably.
Passenger 2: Probably?!
Boarding Attendant: {hesitantly} Probably yes? Let's go with probably yes. No room for your snails.
Passenger 1: Crap.
Boarding Attendant: Although, we've got most of the parts for another plane. Do you happen to have an engine for a Mohawk-M on you? If you do, we can just build a new plane and you can fly on that.
Passenger 1: {slowly} Why would I have-
{Just then, three more Bitizens come charging in, clearly very excited as they are talking over each other}
Excited Passenger 1 (Paul): Tickets to Paris! Whoo!
Excited Passenger 2 (Graham): We wanna go to Paris!
Excited Passenger 3 (Alex): Going aboard the Paris Express, and a Choo choo!
Boarding Attendant: Okay, come on through, everyone!
Passenger 1: What? But we were first!
Boarding Attendant: Sorry, but Paris is further away than Jakarta so we'll make more on this. Anyone buying in Bux, step to the front of the line!
{The excited passengers shift ahead of the others}
Excited Passenger 2: Whoo! Yeah!
Excited Passenger 1: Yeah!
Excited Passenger 3: Bweep bweep!
Boarding Attendant: Yes, Paris. Tres bien! Bon voyage! Molto bene!
Passenger 2: What about my vase? What will happen to it now?
Boarding Attendant: {types on computer} It is now in Chicago.
Passenger 2: Chicago?!
Boarding Attendant: The Windy City.
Passenger 2: But I need it in Jakarta!
Boarding Attendant: Oooh... Well, you're in luck.
Passenger 2: You've got my vase?
Boarding Attendant: No, but it's snowing in Algiers.
Passenger 1: What does that have to do with anything?
Boarding Attendant: All of our flights to Paris are routed to Algiers.
Passenger 1: Why would you do that?
Boarding Attendant: Our planes are very small; they get tired easily. They can't make it in one go. And now Algiers is closed, so... {turns to excited passengers} I'm afraid you all won't be travelling to Paris.
Excited Passengers: Awwwww... {trundles off grumbling}
Excited Passenger 2: Didn't want to go to Paris anyway.
Excited Passenger 1: Stupid Paris!
Excited Passenger: Paris smells like poo!
Boarding Attendant: Alright, looks like we're back on to Jakarta. Let me juuuust-
{The phone rings at this point, and the boarding attendant answers it}
Boarding Attendant: Pocket Planes Nairobi? Yes? What's wrong? No, I can't take any more layovers. Yes, I know there's a magician's convention in Cape Town, but we're still full up on pumpkins from the pumpkin fest that was supposed to be in Butwal.
{We briefly see a massive pile of crates filled with pumpkins being unloaded by the cargo bearer}
Boarding Attendant: No. Yes, I understand there's a lot of magicians but... We can't... I'll tell you exactly where you can shove all those wands!
{The boarding attendant hangs up}
Boarding Attendant:Right, where were we? Oh yes, Jakarta. Let me just get your tickets. {types on computer} Here we are, two tickets on Flight P-00-P to Jakarta. You'll be seated next to the band saws. {Passenger 2 looks nervous} And you'll be seated next to the crate of leeches. {Passenger 1 looks nervous} Don't worry, there's usually very little turbulence out of Nairobi.
Passenger 2: Thanks? {both passengers go to board their plane}
Boarding Attendant: Have a safe flight! {Alexander Roeder Bitizen approaches the counter} Next!
{The phone rings again, and the boarding attendant answers it}
Boarding Attendant: Pocket Pla- What? What's that? What do you mean, you sold the airport? This is Nairobi! You can't close the only airport in Nairobi; this is a blue city, dammit! And what am I supposed to do, go back to work at the Tiny Tower? No, don't you hang- {dialing tones on the other end} What do I do with all these pumpkins?! {sighs}
END CREDITS
{We now see the plane that the first passengers came on board in flight. Every now and then, some Coins float past the plane}
Pilot (Matt): Attention, ladies and gentlemen, we are just encountering some Coin related turbulence. If you're so inclined, please feel free to lean out the window and grab one. It'll help smooth the flight out, and more importantly, help to offset the cost of in-flight entertainment, which is going to be opening up that crate of band saws at the back.
