After successfully installing Linux on his computer, his PDA, and his iPod, Paul wonders what he should install on next. Before Graham and Morgan can stop him he has installed Linux on their Wii and heads off to do the same to Graham's PS2 and XBox 360. Graham's DS and cell phone are next. Somehow Paul installs Linux on the microwave which makes cooking pierogis (even) more difficult for Graham, turns the toilet into a file server, and connects the front and back doors to the network printer. When he installs Linux on Graham there are a few driver problems but he'll make a good web server once he is hooked up to the dishwasher/router.

Trivia

  • Beside traditional computers large and small Linux can really be installed on many PDAs, iPods, Wiis, PS2s and PS3s, XBoxes and XBox 360s, Nintendo DS, PSP, and some cell phones. However Linux can not be run on microwaves, toilets, doors or dishwashers. No doubt someone on the internet is hard at work to change this though.
  • Installing Linux takes a bit more than plugging a keyboard and typing a bit. However if your BIOS is set up correctly it is possible to boot Linux from a USB drive.
  • This video was screened at the LoadingReadyRun Fifth Anniversary Screening as it was tied for second fan favorite.
  • LRR reused the name, concept and most of the script of this video three years later for Installation Anxiety 2010.
